PILLOW TALK is an original work by Cristina Camacho (Macho), debuting at Atlanta's Dance 411 studios. Composed of a group of talented dancers from diverse backgrounds, PILLOW TALK uses an eclectic vocabulary of movement to capture the fragility and sensuality of intimate relationships.
DANCE411, home of talent agency 411 South, is a studio in Atlanta hosting classes of all genres for youth and adults. "The Floor is Yours" is their first adult showcase, inviting creative artists from all backgrounds to celebrate the best dancers & choreographers in the industry. Acceptance into this show would not have been possible without the support of the DMV community - a special thank you to all of my friends and family that voted on Instagram!

A graduate and CAPA scholar of the University of Maryland Dance Department, Macho uses her dance training in modern, jazz, step, and hip-hop to create works that demonstrate diversity, strength, and messages of the moment. She has had the opportunity to share her choreography in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, Canada, Barcelona, and now Atlanta! Performance credits include Dynamic Dance Team, Culture Shock DC, KickRocks Crew, Reesa Renee Wonderland Cool Tour, Great Day Washington, Kennedy Center, Howard University, and works by Adriane Fang, Betty Skeen, and Alvin Mayes.
Macho would like to express her gratitude to her team - for always being up for the challenge, despite late night rehearsals, confusing blocking algorithms, and a short rehearsal time frame. She would also like to thank her dance community for supporting her in this journey and voting to get her choreography on this stage.
